The Venture Attractor, a university-based research initiative of the El Pomar Institute of Innovation & Commercialization (EPIIC) at UCCS, is built on years of faculty research in entrepreneurship, industry cluster formation (e.g. Silicon Valley), regional economic development (e.g. Arch Grants), value creation in free-market economies, and mature startup ecosystems. 

The program is dedicated to fostering early-stage startups in the sports, outdoors, health innovation, and human performance sectors, driving economic growth in Colorado Springs.
